00:00:11: I'm working on the social studies project for Brunei and I am covering this social class culture part of this project.
00:00:23: So for greetings, Bruneian men usually shake hands lightly when they eat.
00:00:29: each man then touches their palms so that chest is a sign of sincerity.
00:00:36: but many Bruins shake hands Don't shake hands with the opposite gender.
00:00:43: Instead, they nod or smile on their friendly and polite people.
00:00:49: They celebrate New Year's Day Their national day which is the twenty-third of February.
00:00:55: Chinese new year The Sultan's birthday anniversary are the formation of the Royal Brunei armed forces in Christmas Day And they also celebrate the holy holiday of Ramadan Which is fasting?

00:01:10: That's all I'm gonna say for time sakes.
00:01:13: But the most popular sport in Brunei is soccer.
00:01:17: Some people may call it football, but In the US we call it soccer...but i'm not fully American.
00:01:23: so Other popular sports that include badminton golf which-that's actually unexpected and rugby.
00:01:33: Many people there also play a game called passing Which is a strategy game.
00:01:39: Rice is a staple in Brunei and it's usually served with chicken, lamb, vegetables or seafood.
00:01:47: Islam is the main religion of Brunea.
00:01:50: however there are some Christians that live there.
00:01:53: It has around seven percent according to my statistics.
00:01:58: The main language there is Malay.
00:01:59: However Some people speak English which is widely spoken there especially for business stuff.
